I’ve been working in the I.T. field for nearly 7 years now, but I’ve been a computer geek for over 20. I’m kind of a “Jack of all trades” type of computer professional. One day I’m working with a Cisco firewall, the next I’m extracting data from a DB2 database. I do everything from diagnosing hardware to programming in VB.net, HTML, PHP, and SQL.
My only significant hobby other than computers would be music. I have nearly 5,000 CDs in my collection. Hard Rock & Heavy Metal are my genres of choice. I like fast music with good lyrics. I guess I have a weird taste in music because I haven’t found anybody that listens to the same types of bands that I do. (Currently I’m liking Bullet For My Valentine) I also like Dragonforce, Trivium, Shinedown, Trapt, Disturbed, Breaking Benjamin, and a whole bunch more. I do like to kick up the Hair Band from time to time too. I despise Grunge. Nirvana, Pearl Jam, STP, Tool… that shit can go back to Hell… where it came from. In my opinion, Grunge is the genre that ruined 80’s hair band rock.
I guess to some extent I like cars too. That is my Dad’s main hobby and I’ve picked it up. Cars have stereos and that’s where I listen to most my music. They go together real well for me. There a pictures of our cars in the Photos tab.
Personally I tend to think I have a good sense of humor and like to joke around. I treat people with respect and honesty. I do have a “do onto others as they would do onto you” type of mentality. I like people that have the same interests as me and people that aren’t afraid to learn to do things for themselves. I hate people that use me. If they use me, I better get something in return. (I fix your computer; you help me do this or that.) I’ll give you the shirt off my back but you better appreciate it and express it in some way.

Now I just use the site as a blog/journal. I doubt if anybody really reads anything I post but I do have a few articles that people find helpful via a search. I like to write in a personal sense. It helps me get some of my feelings out… otherwise my mind races when I go to bed. (That’s why most of my posts are after midnight.)
My gaming alias has been Griminal for over 10 years. I don’t know who the hell this rapper from the UK is… but I ain’t him!
