The server was borked for the last few days… like anybody reads it. 
All better now! I also took the opportunity to upgrade to the latest version of WordPress.
My boy and I went to a nice LAN party last weekend. I have to say that it was about the best LAN I’ve been to in the last three years. I racked up at least 5 hours of Team Fortress 2 and three hours of Unreal Tournament 3 in an eleven hour period.
The party was a small affair with only 18 people at the maximum… but that made a good number. Everyone was playing the same game and the teams were balanced. Nobody was file leaching or watching movies. Maybe 20 people is the LAN sweet spot?
I cannot believe the amount of games coming out all at one time. I really like TF2 and UT3… and COD4 is just a few weeks away! My wife is gunna hate this computer after a few month!
All I can say is “Holy shit!” I downloaded the demo tonight. I buy very few games. This one, I’m buying. I HIGHLY recommend trying out the demo.
The boy and I are thinking about going to a Mini Lan in K’zoo this weekend. We have another on the 20th.
The last LAN we were to was December 30 of 2006.
I was just handed the abstruse task of securing new wireless phones for the organization. Users will need the flexibility of mobile Internet access along with superb coverage. I’ve consolidated pricing and features for Verizon and Sprint. I’ll be calling AT&T and Alltel tomorrow. I’m interested in acquiring phones with SIM cards so I can swap out defective units without support calls to the carrier. I’m also looking for around 25,000 minutes a month at the lowest cost possible. Those types of cellular minutes are going to run approximately $1,500 a month.
