Grim’s Place

I’m currently working on doing a few migrations.

The first is upgrading from a 2000 Active Directory to a 2003 Active Directory. I have a Windows 2000 Server VMWare running on my system in a mock domain. Gunna try to migrate it to 2003 tomorrow.

The second upgrade is for e-mail. GroupWise 5.5 -> MS Exchange 2003 -> MS Exchange 2007. I guess you gotta do the 2003 migration first because 2007 doesn’t “do” GroupWise.

The third upgrade is the deck in the Impala. I’m looking at this unit:

We got a nice deal on a four year agreement for TrendMicro’s Officescan Corporate Edition anti-virus package.

I just got done setting up a Windows Server 2003 VMWare image as the server. We’ll move that over to the real virtualization servers when we get ‘em up and running.

Every since March 1st came around is. Work seems to be going fairly well but personal life and property are suffering.

The family is all well though and that’s what counts!
