Back in my high school days, I was into cars. Life, family, and home ownership have dampened that part of my life fairly well. My dad recently got a 1992 Plymouth Laser for a decent price. I’ve always like Dodge Stealths and the Laser is a very close cousin. I’ve decided to buy the car from my dad. It doesn’t look like this… yet. It will though.
We’ve completed an engine swap because the current 4 cylinder had multiple holes in the block… hmmm. I’ve gotten a spoiler for the rear hatch too. It should be firing up today. With luck that is.
I’m still geared towards getting my wireless connection up next month. The back side of the house can be put off a bit for cooler weather.

I got the South, West, and East side of the house done. I still have a bit of work to do on the porch, but for the most part, it’s minor stuff. I still have to do the North side. That will take a good Saturday.
I have more pictures in the gallery. I do hate this Sony camera though. It takes crappy pictures. I’ll be replacing it shortly with another Fuji.

It’s been crazy for the last month. When I’m not working, I’m working on the house. When I’m not doing that, it’s 10:00 PM. I usually veg out in front of the TV until bedtime. I have the front of the house 95% complete… other than a couple of sheets of siding on the porch. I’ll post some pictures when I take them.
Rogue was kind enough to give me a small form factor mobo with integrated video and an ISA slot. I installed a Celeron 366 and 32MB of ram in it and it works just fine. It will be the new TAIL. I’m going to try to mount the sucker on the tower for a wireless trial. This will remove all cable loss and should give me a very good connection. If all goes well, I’ll look into weatherproofing the computer. With the siding nearly complete, I can start dinking with wireless again… and get broadband!
